I got the camera, i think it has more noise than before in the image, however the video mode is much improve due to stereo sound and the manual control for video work is very good,.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 has not been noisy for me, have you tried changing the ISO setting. also "Intelligent" auto is not as "Intelligent" as it proposes indoors, you need to use Program AE for indoors mainly, but IA is great for outdoor photos.

Exactly, since a penny's terminal velocity is much less than that of a kind of clunky battery. Even worse would be if someone decided to toss he whole camera. That would definitely kill someone. Then again I say we send this in to myth busters.

haha yeah i liked that episode of mythusters when they tossed those pennies off that building, now that battery can do some serious damage luckily they have fences that would hopefully deter someone from throwing one off
