A tsunami prompted by a massive earthquake has swept through parts of northeastern Japan, decimating homes and vehicles. The quake jolted Japan's Honshu island and left a trail of devastation. The tremor also rocked buildings in the capital Tokyo, and tsunami alerts have been issued throughout Asia and as far as Hawaii and New Zealand. An 8.8-magnitude earthquake struck Japan on Friday, killing at least 23 people and triggering a huge tsunami in coast areas of Japan and other Asian countries. The Japan Meteorological Agency said the earthquake hit Japan's northeastern Honshu island. A 10-meter tsunami has washed the port in Sendai city, where many houses were flooded with seawater. Meanwhile, the runways of Sendai airport were submerged by tsunami. The Japan Meteorological Agency revised the magnitude of the quake from 7.9 to a magnitude of 8.9...
