In part 2 of our professional bridal makeup tutorial, Sean focuses on our bride's eyes, cheeks and lips.

Beginning with a selection of 4 eye color hues, Sean applies eye makeup from light to dark, starting with the highlights. He uses the Make-up Designory #350 Shadow/ Blender Brush (http://shop.mudshop.com/350-shadow-blender-brush ) and the MUD #800 Crease Brush ( http://shop.mudshop.com/crease-brush ) for the eye makeup application. His eyeshadow palette includes:

http://shop.mudshop.com/spanish-gold
http://shop.mudshop.com/espresso
http://shop.mudshop.com/chamois

Black cake eyeliner ( http://shop.mudshop.com/cake-eyeliner) is applied with the MUD #100 Eyeliner Brush (http://shop.mudshop.com/100-eyeliner-brush).
We recommend always spraying water on your palette first, and then rolling your brush bristles in to moisten them. Don't spray directly into the product.

For a little more definition, Sean uses the #210 Angle Brush (http://shop.mudshop.com/210-angle-liner-brush ) to create a drop shadow with a wet application of the Spanish Gold eyeshadow and deepen the edge with the Esspresso color.

Sean then addresses the question of whether to apply mascara before or after false lashes. Either way, camouflaging the plastic strips with cake eyeliner is always essential. Sean blends the false and natural eyelashes together with a light application of Volumizing Mascara (http://shop.mudshop.com/volumizing-mascara?sc=2&category=3620 )

The next step is to warm up the face with the #710 Brush (http://shop.mudshop.com/710-powder-blush-brush ) and the Soft Peach Cheek Color (http://shop.mudshop.com/soft-peach ).

And finally, to complete this bridal makeup look, Sean applies lip liner and lipstick.
Starting from her cupid's bow on the top lip, then a small line in the center of the lower lip, Sean draws from the outer corner and blends in with the Natural Lip Pencil (http://shop.mudshop.com/natural-lip-pencil ). Sean uses the #310 Lip Brush to apply Just Peachy Sheer Lipstick (http://shop.mudshop.com/just-peachy?sc=2&category=12137 ).

And that completes our bridal makeup tutorial. Our bride looks stunning!

  • Hi...I really liked all your videos, specially this one. I am from India. Interested in learning professional makeup. Do you have an academy or institute here in India ? or any person who can help me out ?

  • @Shabdavedi Hi! We replied to your message as well. It would be best to contact Blossom Kocchar who are our India distributors in New Delhi. Their information is on mudshop.com under "MUD International." They are also a school and can at least point you in the right direction. Thanks for your interest in MUD!
