Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Review

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 1994 Sega Genesis

This game once again only improves on the greatness of its previous games. The best part is probably the introduction of two new villains, Knuckles the Echidna and Mecha Sonic. The game also introduces the ability to save your game to a save file which was a pretty big deal back in the day, especially if it wasn't an RPG.

Is there any app for wii homebrew were sonic CD is playable yet?

Unfortunately I don't believe there is. I had heard that the Gens emulator could play Sega CD roms, but I haven't tested that theory yet. I know for a fact it won't play 32X though. I was really wanting to play Knuckles Chaotix (Pretty the only oldschool "sonic" game I never played), but unfortunately the Gens emulator doesn't support 32X on the Wii.

At 8 minutes you say that the first game didn't have emeralds but it did. :D

Lol yeah I know. What I meant was that you couldn't turn into Super Sonic. But yeah, if I recall there were 6 emeralds in the first one. I never collected them all in the first one so don't quote me on that haha.

The reason sonic 2 is widely considered the best sonic game is the level design. I enjoyed every single level in sonic 2, whereas with sonic 3 & knuckles, there were several zones that bored me.

Yeah get all 6 and you get a slightly different ending that's about it.

All in one game eh? That probably explains the ridiculous length of Sonic 3 and Knuckles.
