  • Go to Coffey's English Salon in the Crown Plaza Hotel (near Wu Yi square in the center of town.) It's on Tuesdays and Fridays. There are many people there who will gladly help for free just for the chance to practice his/her English.

  • "Changsha is one of the thre hottest cities in China."

Utter nonsense. Yes, it's hot, but many cities are hotter. The 34º shown is a regular temperature here in southern China.

  • I believe she said "one of the. . ." Remember that Changsha lies at the bottom of the Xiang river valley, meaning that the humidity just sits on top in the summer.

The temperature shown, for anyone who has traveled past a comfort zone, is there to show the humidex, I believe.

How does that equate to "utter nonsense"?

I believe it might be time to make an appointment with the word choice doctor.

  • She said "one of the three hottest". That is not true. Therefore nonsense.

  • No, therefore 'untrue', not 'utter nonsense'.

This is the way English works. Words mean things.

  • CHANGSHA is a great city. The living standards of the higher class family are even higher than some US and EU cities.

I don't know what's your purpose of this Video.

You should take some picture of the street, not the corner of street.

  • I will be going to Chnaghsa in a few days !!!! China rocks YEAH!!!

  • I plan to visit next year. Is there a link I can get to hire an English student who speaks mandarin well to act as translator. I only speak English.

  • Thank you for your video. It is very informative. I plan to visit next year but two things I hear from this video is a bit discouraging: hot weather and mother's having their children defecate in public. When is their local government going to do something about it public cleaniless. It is a disgrace for the rest of the people.

  • @liuzhou they call ChangSha Huo Cheng means Fire City is really in the summer..

  • For 2006 this is somewhat accurate, but for 2010 it's already obsolete from the realities over there. Even the weather information... the last couple winters are insanely cold and snow days lasts for more than a month.

  • Hello tianlinli. Do you live in Changsha? My daughter will be there for oe year and maaybe it would be nice to kow someone there

  • ChangSha is much better than what they have reported. Most of western countries were trying to ugly China as much as they could.Believe it or not, ChangSha is a wonderful city.

  • Changsha is much bettle what ever she said, i love changsha a lot,

  • I just read the long march by sun shuyun it was a very good account of the struggles the chinese peoplewent thru to build their country to what it is today.

    哎 你 中我

  • True. The TV programs produced in Changsha are loved by most Chinese people especially the young generation. They firstly introduced some show programs which have successfully made some super stars!
