  • Jarretts aversion to electric instruments has nothing to do with his religious beliefs. After he left Davis' group, he swore off electric instruments and alienated many in the fusion genre by declaring electric instruments a crutch. Some feel this attitude belies a simmering arrogance. Whether one aggrees with him or not, his talent is undeniable. He is without question one of the greatest piano improvisers of all time.

  • If you listen carefully Keith plays a rendition of the bassline to Mile's "So what" at 1.45... Maybe incidental...
