@rickiex me tooo
we just need to get oil from algie

@themeaningoflife38 No this is just preparing people for what is to come when this fake ass economy finally goes tits up. Oil wont run out, but it will be far to expensive for anyone to afford. And the US will rip itself apart ala MAD MAX.
-
@DanielMadrigalC Well... you head is half way in the right place... This is going to happen in the the very near future in fact very soon. When the US economy crashes... and $100 or a $1000 wont buy you a gallon of gas or loaf of bread. In fact CNBC did a report confirming the US military is getting ready for it. And the CEO of Golman Sachs gave an interview to the Huffington Post admitting he is arming his employees in preparing for "civil unrest" when the economy finally goes tits up.

@mushugai This show is just propaganda to scare people so they are willing to pay any price for gas.It's almost like a threat that you cant live without oil.
And you're right,the oil industry will never allow solar or anything to become affordable unless they control it.The wind turbine industry is already controlled by GE.

Luckly solar panels are cheaper now.

can anyone tell me when this will be on next on t.v
or if i can view the complete video on the interwebs.

This shows what happens IF oil competely runs out... But one thing they fail to mention is the same thing can happen if the economy crashes and oil becomes too expensive. This is just getting people ready for what is about to happen. So when it does happen people are acclimated to the idea... because after all.... IT WAS ON TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Great movie...a lot of the effects they showed from oil being completely cut off are similar to what happens when there is a gradual oil shock...

So true! If oil was faded out and replaced with cleaner, more efficient means. We would slowly see nature, the earth, and human kind live a more balanced existance.
we really have to go green before this happens

totally beyond the point. This isnt about going back to rubbing sticks together and sitting around a drum circle singing kumbaya. This is about ending mass consumption and trading it with a sustainable way of living. Even in our huge complex society. Im exhausted from the amount of idiots on the internet... I stop commenting now....
