If you look at the video carefully, this is a horse with some color. For those who think this is Blue Hors Matine, you are mistaken. This is obviously not a pure white mare.

The reason this was Cavans last preformance is that the gelding is now retired. He retired this night in Herning at the Stallion Licesning for Danish Warmblod. I was there and Andreas and Cavan were fantastisc as always!!
The speech he gives in the end is so touching it was unbelievable!

Not sure if my previous comment went through. Anyway, if you look at the title, this horse is Blue Hors Cavan, not Blue Hors Matine. Cavan is male, had a testicular injury, and is gelded.

Being that the horse is female, I doubt it was castrated due to a testicle injury

Not sure, but Blue Hors Cavan was apparently castrated due to a testicle injury -- but I don't see why that would affect his ability to compete.

What's happened here? Why was this the last time for Andreas to ride this horse. The video was a little hard to see, but they were obviously a crowd pleaser?
