how do you find the tools menu, like with the scissors/cut tool and stuff?
-
he seems to not know a fast way to do this I will show a demo of how to do this but using Nuendo!

man, no need for all that chopping around..just select parts of the audio track on the timeline and click on "repeat section" that will double that selection so you do it wherever and as much as you like and then rearrange de bits of track..thats how i do it its so quick, this method you're showing is so LONG!

i can't find the cross fade tool in my logic 9.1.6...any help? i found the fade tool but it won't allow me to play with the instrument to make it level out than raise in volume slowly. is fade on used on vocals and automation only for instruments?

@24Snapz Are you tying to do this on a MIDI region? If so, you can't do crossfades on MIDI regions, only audio regions, you will have to automate the volume changes with automation..

@imamusicmogul im assuming the midi region can't say i know the difference between the two as of right now..to automate the volume changes with automation would only be for instrument recorded tracks?

@24Snapz thats right, go to the individual tracks and automate the volume change... But if it is an audio region (recorded live instrument) then do the cross fade tool... Is it not showing up in the list??
