  • @k0reangirlX thank you, I hate the term scout for the senshi, they don't go around dilvering cookies.

  • @ItsFlapJack

    That's how it's pronounced.

  • @k0reangirlX Uhh the original Japanese name is not "Bishoujo Senshi Sera Mun" Its "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon" where did you get Sera Mun from?

  • @k0reangirlX

DiC's dubbing (I.E: Origin of "Sailor Scouts") = First 2 Seasons only.

Throughout the series when they go against their main villain they rarely do so without trying to gather information (in other words, scouting) and form a plan.

  • @inlovewithJLT

    1st Season =/= Whole Series

Or, 1st Story arc =/= Whole Manga

  • @k0reangirlX They search for their princess, they search for the Silver Crystal, they gather intel on their enemies before charging into battle when possible. Scouts is a perfectly appropriate term.

  • @inlovewithJLT

The reason why I am against "scout" is because they don't go ahead and look for spying purposes (and etc.), they actually go in and just fight, which makes them Sailor Soldiers.

  • @k0reangirlX So your argument is that since the Girl Scouts' inception no female identify herself as a "scout" other than in reference to Girl Scouts? Odd viewpoint.

  • @inlovewithJLT

Yes, the word did exist before Girl Scouts, but Sailor Moon existed after it. And I also do realize that in the Japanese original, the soldiers' names were combined as one word, but since the original title is actually Bishoujo Senshi Sera Mun, not Bishoujo Senshi Seramun, I'd rather go with Sailor Moon. Plus, in most translations of the manga and anime, and the new reprint of the manga, their names are said as two separate words.

  • @UndefeatableTwilight oh okay thanks.
