False Teachers

Dr. John MacArthur gives a powerful statement on false teaching i.e. Word of Faith Name it and Claim it message going around today. The false Gospel.

Sigh. No. The Bible didn't just fall from the sky. Its books were written by men and its final composition was guided by the Holy Spirit. The problem with that, however, is that every branch of Christianity (from the Orthodox, to the Catholics, to the Protestants to the evangelicals, to the Mormons, etc) claims they have been lead by the Holy Spirit to add or remove selected books from the Bible.

The whole thing seems a little like building a house on sand instead of on rock.

@thedagonjones if you say that about John MacArthur, then you will probably say it about Leonard Ravenhill too, its like the scribes or pharisees saying to Jesus that he had a demon when he cast one out, just because it doesn't suit you doesn't make it false. God can see your post, and don't think you get away with accusing people which he has called to repentance.

@AQartAJQ + he also says you must hate your carnal flesh in order to fallow him and that the flesh counts for nothing! and don't seek what it needs but seek the things above! so why would he bother with healing someone who will soon die anyways cause of the curs not to mention he never promised any carnal gifts to anyone but spiritual? to show we can indeed overcome the world through him and in the end according to his will we will comedown and subdue it with him then reign with him forever!

@maryinfield it was just for an illustration of what will happen for those who believe in him when he restores all creation in the end! but first he wanted their hearts to turn to him that they may eat the true bread of life! so the miracles was him showing the fruit to come wen are raised! in fact its quite evident and he says it himself that we'll go through many trills for fallowing him for even he only lived to 33, and his will was also dun through paul and look at him and all the others!
