Filmed in Bristol during their '97 stage tour, Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall again adopt their characters of Eddie and Richie from the television series "Bottom", this time being stranded on a desert island with no food, and even worse, no booze or pornography to keep them occupied. Things get even worse during the second act when they discover that a French visitor has left a large nuclear device on the island during the night to conduct weapons testing in the pacific.

  • im from the u.s ., and my brother-in-law is from england, one day he show me this at his carvan and said this is the best comedy better then the u.s. and i love it! why can U.K comedy come to the u.s.? three letters FFC. <------fuck them . it has to be clean up to people to watch......it's unjust and unfair to see a great comedy to be clean

but i love england comedy no lie about(^;^)

  • wish rik and ade were still doin shows i reackon they should do 1 more show make it about 1hour or so and make it a dvd :) fuckin love bottom watched it since i was little cant get enough

  • @gamegirl07 I completely agree with you. I grew up watching clever witty stuff like black adder. And my brothers used to watch bottom, the young ones and so on. Strange enough that Ben Elton was the guy who co produced Black Adder and The Young Ones. So they are all interlinked in a way. But yes, I reckon the young people these days dont know good comedy when they see it. I am presently 24 xD

  • rik mayall is a Legend

  • @Meanm3xican let us beat him up!

  • @gamegirl07 I understand what you're saying. Only comedians of today really get recognised and watched, it is just what comedy has evolved into, and I cannot watch comedy these days, because it is all stand up, and I do understand it, I just don't see the comedy in most of it. Nothing can make me laugh as much as shows like this, Laurel and Hardy and others from the past. The present needs more comedy like this.
