Sophie the collie & her sheep

Sophie, my dearly departed rough collie, playing with her favorite toy. We lost Sophie to cancer on March 26th, 2011. She was 6 years old. Sophie was an amazing dog with an incredible personality; she loved life and she loved to play. We miss her more than words can say.

Beautifull Sophie likes to keep her sheep - lovely to look in her face and see the conflict that she wants to play with you but she also wants to keep the sheep - how did it end ?

My collie Jojo does not play with toys but in the living room he sorts the toys of his friends to be ready when one of his friends come in. He loves playing with other dogs.

@collieultimo Thank you for the comment :) I think she was a little like, "Put the camera down and play with me out here in the living room!" We ended up going outside after this :)

I, too, had a rough collie. He was the most spoiled dog ever, but heck, we loved him so very much. It's been more than a year since we lost him, and I still cry over his death. I'm not going to lie, this video made me cry but laugh at the same time. I'm sorry to hear that she passed away, she was such a beautiful collie; I can easily imagine the pain you went through.

my collie does do the same! He doesn´t want to give me back his toys to throw it again... and he challenges me to take it bak from him again to continue the game over and over! lol! i love the face they make when they are happy! I've always had collies... Love them!

Sorry for your loss. Sophie was a very pretty girl! She acts very similar to my "Lady". I own a Rough-coat Collie who is my pride and joy.

haha my collie does the same thing, only if you try and tell her to come here or something she pretends she can't hear you and turns her head away from you. collies are so smart!
