I understand that these are both separate pieces of art and should be enjoyed independently from one another. However, I remember hearing this live version months before Good News For People Who Love Bad News was released.
I was a little taken back initially because i was expecting a produced version of the live one i been listening to. I've come to love them both, just wondering how others feel since they are both so radically different in feel.

Yeah this makes my day. I have to say I love the older version better. When I started to listen to these guys I wouldn't have felt the same. But now well theres so much more heart and soul in the older version.... both are great... I just feel the old one way more. I love it when he desides to write about death... it never gets old.

thank you so much for this upload. i really appreciate being able to listen to the evolution/de-evolution (depending on personal opinion on the direction their sound is going) of Modest Mouse
