  • nice tip. i enlisted in the army as a 19d last week, and ship out to basic march 11. i havent worked out at all since high school/military school and have gotten completely out of shape, lol. I started trying to knock out 30 push up and by the time i hit 15, I felt like my arms were about to fall off. haha hopefully this will help get me back to doing a lot of regular push-ups. thanks man

  • No problem. If you can, try speed-walking/jogging with 5 lb. weights in your hands. That really helps build up your armstrength as well. Take care, and be safe in the Army.

  • Well, mine are baggy just for the simple fact that I lost over 100 lbs.

  • Thank you so much!! I was thinking of enlisting or going reserves, but I can't do a single push-up...I'm going to start doing this and see if I can develop that upper body strength that seems so elusive for girls...

  • Great advise, I use to teach these steps back in military academy for those who couldn't do any and they slowly worked their way up to full push ups :D
