  • just kidding

  • correction: not removes "all traces of humadity" its all traces of humanity"

  • large overhead!

  • heavy stuff

  • @fightenspirit I think this show is filmed in Canada where they have permafrost. So it may very well be it cools in an hour. Also people here who complain asphalt is not enviormentley friendly have to remember this is the ahrd product left over from oil refinary production of gas and quarys. so its a recycled product.

  • Oh the sweet virgin assssssphalt

  • @ERStLouis Sadly the quality of reused asphalt paving tend to be far below fresh, which in turn requires more frequent repaving. Some of these problems stems from the need of a infusion of fresh asphalt to a mix where it is difficult to accurately analyse the exact oil types and rock quality as well as rock grain size.

While granulated asphalt do work quite well as the support section of a road structure it is also far from a clean process even with just this basic method.

  • Or... we could recycle more of what we've already produced.Think about the incredible amounts of greenhouse gases emitted to produce a single ton of virgin asphalt.. Alternatives exist:. Our roads are asphalt banks on which the environmental and financial costs have already been paid. Today's recycling technology makes withdrawals from this bank easy and convenient.. Worth taking a look, it is being done every day.

Made in CANADA, eh? All of these "How It's Made" videos are shot there. You can usually tell by the sea sick camera action in the beginning.

The UK doesn't have real roads. They are paved bicycling trails. Ask anyone who has driven the countryside of England.

  • this must be in the uk or something they are using the metric system?
