  • Excellent, idea. I worked through all my education. I took 7 years instead of 4 but was well worth it coming out with no debt.

  • @GeneralCalculus In and of itself there is nothing wrong with that. But it does present some consequences. First of all the amount of students increases drastically. Now that by itself is good, we want a well educated populace, but it raises disproportionately to the amount of teachers and schools.

    Since usually the amount of funding is not enough the quality of the education suffers either from lack of teachers, overabundance of students or lacking infrastructure.

  • What is wrong that all studies up to doctorate level are covered with taxpayers money?

  • And if you don't have holidays!

  • But what about if you are working in something where cumulative practical skills are important?
