  • Cool, it's like Lord of the Rings.

  • LoL

  • The Bible doesn't say the world is six thousand years old, it's the interpretation.

  • I wonder if he drives a car, made by sinful men called scientists? His shirt looks like it was made from fabrics created and machined by sinful men called scientists. I don't mind if people want to delude themeselves, I just wish they would keep it quiet.

  • So here we have the "argument from authority" logical fallacy - the unusual thing is that it's actually stated explicitly. Also a nice example of privileging the hypothesis, but never mind that.

Serious question for anyone who accepts this guy's argument: Given that I don't believe in your god, how and why should I trust your creation story over the Hindu creation story, or any of the countless others?

  • Seriously ....wake up Atheists/Scientists/Muslims/Anti-Bible

  • Believing is seeing--if you believe there is not God or that the Bible isn't true, you will see evidence of that; if you believe in God and that the Bible is true, you will see evidence for that. Facts never speak for themselves, but need people to speak for them, based on what they already believe.

  • @VforVideo You are my new favorite theist.

  • On behalf of the body Christ, I apologize for this bastardization of the Bible. You do not need to reject science to believe in God or the Bible for that matter.

Three things that every honest Christian will tell you:

    1. There is no scientific proof for God

    2. The Bible is not a science book

    3. While reasonable, the Bible is not merely book of reason. That is to say that not all of it can/should be taken "literally"

  • "are based on anti-biblical assumptions ..." x 3

Assumptions which just happen to be demonstrable in the real world, unlike this babble.
