wes didn't get lucky, when you have great roll from behind the ball the weight block blows racks. if you have great roll, you don't have to slam perfect flush every time. which is why bowling is all about the roll

mika did make the best shot he could have possibly made, but his ball did delay just a little too long and came in at a soft angle. and wes did not get lucky with those strikes, they were both very strong balls. that's the advantage to throwing so much ball- you splash racks. the disadvantage is obviously you have less error room; you leave giant splits off tiny mistakes
