This is what happens when you put a little too much nitrous to a mostly stock sr20det with 22lbs of boost.

  • mostly stock? you cant push 22lbs of boost on a "mostly stock" sr20det. the stock turbo alone cant handle more than like 13lbs.

  • yes the car is mostly stock, but your wrong with saying that the turbo can only handle 13lbs. The turbo is capable of more boost, it just however will not do it for long, approx 6 months and then you blow the turbo apart. We have 3 cars that all were setup about the same and all ran roughly 22lbs but the turbos dont last.

  • If its running at 22psi, thats way past it's efficiency range

  • Your a retard and should learn something about sr20's. The block stock is good to almost 500whp without being built. The car owner is correct the turbo will hold that much boost, mine does. It is just out of its efficiency and the wear on the turbo increases dramatically. Who cares though a stock turbo can be had for around $200

  • That was my friend's stealth you raced there. I didn't know you were racing there that day too.

  • god damn looked like the wheels wanted to come up
