hey ruthiness. funny comment.
just re-watched this last night. what a great effort from everyone. all the details are so intimate and honest - all the players cast perfectly: especially the walgreen's security guard. like eastwood, reichardt is a minimalist with the information she gives the viewer. like the scene when the guard gives wendy some cash while hiding it from his daughter waiting in the car. you don't need backstory spoonfed to you there. reichardt gives you just enough to know.
