  • Leon looks at Furry with such respect and admiration, you can tell it was genuine.

  • I've always loved Leon, this just shows what is underneath that exterior. To repeat someone, he is showing so much respect and admiration for Furry in this video. He is also highlighting the piano in the perfect spots. He is concentrating on making Furry's performance as great as it can be. Love you both! Great, great video. It's a shame now that Leon has needed help to get the recognition he needs with the current group of new music lovers. Thanks to Elton John for that.

  • To paraphrase Leon Russell: "If you watch this video and you don't feel like you've had a religioius experience, you just don't watch youtube no more 'cause we don't need you, you hear me?"

  • Golly I love this!!!!

  • I envy your experience of knowing Furry. You were in the presence of musical genius.

  • I knew Furry personally. My son and his father's picture hung on his wall in the house that burned. I never knew he played with Leon but I agree, his (Leon's) admiration shined in this video. He opened for the Rolling Stones early on and they paid him with a guitar. Furry hocked it to buy his groceries. What a shame!

  • Thank God there were people like Leon around that could appreciate the origenals!

  • This video is amazing!! I love the bond between the two artists that is apparent!!

  • For actors, musicians, etc. it is hard to have staying power as the "new" is what's desired. Only a few have the luck or skill to last for long careers. Halls of Fame are great, but memories in the hearts of fans can mean more. So few make the Halls, so many remain loved.

  • Furry is having some fun ! Great video, it is very rare to see a acoustic blues player singing with piano and drums.. And here Furry is very good.

  • furry did work on my friend Jeannie Greene's album, Alabama State Troupers, it is great, love old furry..........

  • @vickima12 Thank you for the info on Furry, I was mis-informed. Kinda inexcusable in the internet age, so thanks for setting me straight. Furry was a kind, talented, dignified gentleman.
