  • @KidaKarasu You can buy a kit with the freeze-dried indigo used in the video at mehandi-dot-com. Look for the "Ancient Blue" link on the main page.

  • I live in Calgary, Canada, and It seems as though indigo is really hard to find here. Could you recommend any places I could find it?

  • @sidsthirdeye Not sure if you've already found the answer to your question, but no this is 'indigo', not black henna.

    And for your own safety, avoid black henna, there is no such thing. What is known as black henna is actually a chemical dye (used in hair dye) which can irritate or scar your skin. Henna is brown/dark red brown/light brown, depending on where on your body you are applying the paste.
