Artist Alwin Reamillo ended his art residency at Action Factory with a celebration meal and "puppet show".

Alwin was experimenting with shadow puppets and light sources. He used 2 overhead projectors to create movement with a prefilmed element projected onto the screen as a moving image. To help with texture and movement he used water an sand in the 2 different projecting areas. The puppets were made using acetates and photocopying items on to acetate.

Friends of Action Factory had taken part in workshops making the puppets which were used along side those made by Alwin himself. Alwin had been inspired by John Lennon and the song "A day in the life". Staff and friends of Action Factory enjoyed a night of good food, good company and fantastic visuals.

Alwin had his residency at Action Factory through the plAAy programme and Blackburn Art Gallery and Museum.
