"Where were you young lady?" Kevin asked me in a raised voice.
"In this place called Puerto Rico," I told him. That didn't help with his temper.
"We have been worried sick! We have tried to call you fifty times," Nick said angrily.
"Sure you have," I mumbled. "My phone's off."
"Why is your phone off?" Joe asked me, voice raised in volume as well.
"Because I wanted it to be," I told them.
"We've been worried!" Nick repeated.
"You have, have you?" I asked, my rage building.
"Of course we have," Kevin said.
"That's suprising," I said sarcastically.
"Excuse me?" Joe asked.
"I said, that's a suprise. You were worried? What time did you actually notice I was gone?" I asked, my voice growing louder.
"At noon," Nick replied, mad.
"Ha!" I snorted. "That shows how much you pay attention. I left at 10 this morning," I yelled. I jumped to my feet, unable to hold it any longer. "David went to call his boss, so I went to each of you. Kevin, you and Nick told me to go away. Joe didn't even aknowledge my presence! I just wanted to talk, but the three of you were too caught up in your girlfriends to care. I walked out the door, and it took you two HOURS to notice I was gone! You don't care about me, you're only worried about yourselves. I don't care how hard you spank me, or what you tell Dad. Don't touch me, don't talk to me, don't come near me. Just LEAVE ME ALONE!"
I ran past them and into the girls' room. I passed Selena, Demi, and Dani without a glance. I locked myself onto the balcony with my guitar. Tears stung my eyes, as I stared up at the sky. I heard a light tapping sound on the glass. I turned, and David was there.
I opened the door, and pulled me into a tight hug. He sat on one of the chairs, and placed me on his lap. I cried into his chest. He held me close and stroked my hair. We stayed in silence for a long time. He told me that he had been really scared I was hurt, and I apologized.
After a while, he told me he needed to sleep. I nodded, and he kissed my cheek then left. I locked the door after him, and sat back down. I picked up my guitar, and began to strum softly.
Words came to me at once. I typed them into my phone. I read over them twice to make sure they were correct, then saved them. Next I called Ady.
"Hello?" Adam asked.
"Ady," I said.
"Kicko, baby, what's wrong?" he asked me, worried.
I told him everything. He was appalled thay the boys had ignored me so blatantly, but was also a little disappointed in me leaving. He understood why I did it though. When we said goodbye, it was midnight.
I got up and tip toed inside. The girls were fast asleep. I stripped and got into the shower. I turned it to the high temperature. I stayed under the stream of water, and let it massage my back. It was soothing, and I relaxed quickly. I stayed in though, until the warm water was gone.
I changed into my sleep clothes, and crawled into bed with Dani. That woke her.
"Nicki?" she asked. She turned on the light, causing Sel and Demi to wake.
When they saw me, they bounded over to me and wrapped me into tight hugs. I hugged them back. They repeated over and over and over that they were so sorry.
"It's not your fault. It's theirs," I told them.
"Are you gonna speak to them?" Selena asked me.
"No," I said immediately.
They nodded, and we went back to bed. I fell asleep quickly, wondering when I would be receiving my punishment for today's actions.

its really good! i think the boys should mabe get introuble too? hmm...im thinkin bout starting a jb story 2...but, itl prob b dum:( mabe u could give me some ideas? i LOVE ur seires1 thanx for postin. u can ignore my suggestins if u want. oh, an i really would like mabe some flashbacks to wen they were little? there soo fun 2 read:) like wen kev an joe got the strap, wat for? thanx again 4 postin!
