The Final Destination - Trailer

On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave... escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one--in increasingly gruesome ways--Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination.

You should get the 2nd one too. They're all great. 1 sucked to me though. 2nd is the 2nd best and 3rd is the best. and the 4th is the NEW best

I've seen only 1 & 3 so far, and they're entertaining and 3 had a lot of hotties. This one might be that way too. However, based on the two I saw, they seemed rather pointless in the end. Basically, these kids are trying to outrun/out-think death all through the film, but it always turns out impossible. I can only credit them with hotties & disturbing death scenes a la Traces of Death (in that the films show accidents that could & do happen, for the same kinda folks who watch 1,000 Ways to Die).

naah I most definetely would not put FD in comparaison to Hostel and Saw, it's not quite on the same level of gore, though I do agree on the generation thing you said

Well i'm just saying would you put the FD franchise into the same league as the Saw and Hostel movies in the gore-ography thing? i mean all franchises have creative death scenes. I think FD is this generation's Elm Street while Saw the Friday The 13th of the new generation and Hostel is the Hellraiser of this generation.
