The Pens jump out to a 2-0 lead early in the first. Whitney gets a deflection goal on the power play and then Hossa putting that sweet bread into the back of the net!!! What a play by Hossa to make it 2-0!

Then I don't know what was up with the refs, they called 3 or 4 hooking penalties in a row on marginal calls both ways.

The Flyers scored to make it 2-1, but then the Pens just shut it down for most of the game!

Finally in the third the Pens make it 3-1. Downie takes a cheap shot at Skyora as the goal was being scored, probably frustrated at how big a mistake he just made. And then the Flyers fans boo when Skyora get's up. Of course, I wasn't really surprised by either event...

And then Hossa puts the sweet bread into the net again for the emptynetter and the Pens take a 3-0 lead in the series!!!

Bring the brooms to game 4!!!

We had shitty defensemen in Smith and Kukkonen last year. Our offense this year is even more potent than last year. We will stomp anyone we meet in the playoffs, and the Penguins won't even be there this year. And no need to live in the past pen fans, you won a series, congratulations. the flyers had 56 points the year before and made the conf. finals the very next, something extremely difficult to accomplish. lets go flyers.
