Things are capable of not dying because men like him make it their point to teach others, not sit about and say "I'm only concerned for what I do" or whatever it is he said. And yes, it will die as an occupation, but artistry like this is always revered throughout the years and appreciated by hobbyists. In terms of the aesthetic and quality produced by the type its' self, that is quite attainable with todays computer printing technology, people just don't seem to care.
