This is a little late, but I can only offer condolenses to her family. And I cannot even begin to understand what horr0rs this lovely ray of sunshine young lady must have endured. I find it hard to understand what kind of a "thing" could do this. Not even a rat would do this and they are supposed to be low.

My twins cousins Allison & Mallory goes to Shawnee Mission High School. This year they graduated from Shawnee Mission High.

As a custodian for the West High School, I gaze upon her plaque everytime I walk by it never forgetting her. As a father of a daughter myself, I couldnt imagine the pain and emptiness they feel. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Kelsey Smith.

Wow she went to the same school my twins cousins go. They are now seniors of 2010. Both of my twins cousins are girls.

It is unthinkable that anyone would be that sick and disrespectful but unfortunately there are a few people in this world that would act like that.
I am from the area where this happened and did not know her but our hearts were broken for her , the family and her friends.

Such a short life for such a sweet girl. She's forever immortalized in the halls of Shawnee Mission West, as well as in our hearts.
