This lens is a MUST for any canon EOS owner, whether it be Film or Digital. Nifty-fifty for the win! Its a shame canon removed the Full time manual focus ring and metal mount on the MkII. le*sigh*

Not all 1.6's. Older bodies such as 10d's aren't compatible with EF-S lenses because the mirror hits the back of the lens.

Yes, it's an EF mount lens, so it will work with all current canon bodies (APS-C and full frame).
