If one uses a remote to manually control for example your tv, will you blackberry still think the TV was in the previous state (on or off) unfortunatley the end devices like the tv and mamy others have only one way comunications via IR.
I'm not going to even get into the psychological social impact aspects of one person being in control of everything in a house hold.

This is almost Identical to the system Simon Fraser University has developed with Backberry in Canada for the international SolarDecathalon competition. Great idea, but has some problems, after our Usability Reaserch. Like what if you live with another person or more, who has control then?
