It reminds him of Sonic Adventure. My think it looks more like the casino levels from Sonic Heroes.

Seems like the kind of thing I would use to kill time and nothing else. It would be nice if you got a few points to spend on skills by getting a good enough score, then it would atlleast contribute a little to the rest of the gameplay.

I honestly enjoyed Oil Ocean, mainly for its music. IMO, it's the most memorable level music in Sonic 2. It doesn't match the final boss theme from Sonic 3, though.
