@fretshredder55 You don't know much about emo if your knowledge about it is limited to the indie faction of it. Emo branched from bands either incorporating confessional lyrics into somewhat-poppy indie music and by hardcore punk bands turning into what was called "emotive hardcore/emocore" music and using screaming as opposed to singing (hence screamo). Pianos Become the Teeth, Iselia, Envy, City of Caterpillar, Mesa Verde, and Suis La Lune are all true screamo bands. Skramz all day.
