  • Ohhhh, I see. 8:38, so once we grow up in this whole view of violence, we have a blind spot about the dangers of what virtue to authority can lead. Brilliant! I see it now.

  • But wait, let me get this straight. So you are saying there is a correlation between the power parents use over kids and then how much those kids think the state power is necessary, and to what degree they get offended and upset when you talk to them about state power. Then they get offended and upset because they believe you are insulting their parents through your insult of their political beliefs, since there is a direct correlation between the two?

  • But Stef, I'm still confused. You say that political talks don't matter, of course they do! They do matter in our own lives, not really that much in reality, but in our head, our political beliefs are a reflection of our own values. Therefore if our political beliefs are proven wrong, our values are sort of proven wrong, at least on a general basis as well.

  • Stef, I see it man. So, we don't like political talks and get offended by them because when we think about the state our subconscious is really thinking about our parents and all of the values they put into us. Therefore to question the state, is too question the values our parents put into us.

  • Brilliant, you rock Stef.

  • Great video! One of my favourites.

  • I don't think one can call one's own life experiences "empirical data."

  • Haha, none taken, this was one of my more sedate ones - try 'Space Aliens from Luxemburg' for a little more animation... :)

  • FYI- My boredom comes from the way you read with less emotion. no offense.

  • I watched to the end and was mostly bored, but I must say- Great Conclusion. Makes total sense. :-)
