@firelawn74 It's unfortunate that people use these books to hate instead of love because when they do that they are breaking all of what God stands for, and they are living in sin, not in love. It does not make them any better than the person that does not believe that there's a God. I know who my God is and what kind of relationship I have with him. I know that's NOT what he stands for. That's why I became educated in the things of the world and in the things of God to know the difference.

@firelawn74 It's human nature to sin. People use the Bible or the Koran to their advantage and to seize power, when they should be using it for peace and love. The Bible and the Koran emphasize the power of knowledge and love. Human beings love sin, I love sin too but I choose not to live in sin, but live in love just like God taught me to. Also, to know God is an experience and it starts from the heart. I don't expect anybody to understand since they have to experience it first.

Wow, why would you say people have no choice but to serve you out of fear... why would you not make it clear that people don't have to serve you, but that they should simply be kind to each other and remove the fear of ignorance that rules so many religious people and puts them on a path of hatred, killing and need to prove their god is more powerful than anyone else’s? Again, King James, edited Koran... you are saying God cannot overcome these to bring peace? Not much of a god.

@firelawn74 You are forgetting that there's the force of good and evil. King James was an evil man and made 20,000 alterations to the Bible to gain political control, the Koran was also altered to ignite wars. If I were God, I wouldn't appear in physical form because then nobody would have a choice than to serve me out of fear. Remember God is interested in your genuine heart, and gives you a choice to live by faith or not. It would be difficult to make that decision if he's in physical form.

@firelawn74 That's why you are in this planet. To choose how you want to live your life. God wants us pure in heart because he's perfect. There should not be an ounce of sin in heaven. You cannot expect to be rewarded after all the bad you have done. You chose that life. But since God is merciful, he will give you a chance to repent and change your heart genuinely, that way you can be with him in heaven. All he wants is a genuine heart.

I really don't mean any disrespect, but that's such a crock. A god that is obviously vain, petty and jealous is not giving us a "choice". It's like a "you can believe in me, or be torn apart for eternity" type of love. The mafia boss analogy... you won't get hurt as long as you pay up. If I were a god, and I didnt' make myself known, I would judge people more on their actions, not on their belief in me - good people = good. bad people = bad; regardless of religion.

@firelawn74 If God did such a thing, would we have a choice? No, God wants us to choose and be transformed inside out. it starts from the heart. God gives us free will to choose if we want him or not. Just like we should not force anybody to love us, God does not force anybody to love him. Then people would just follow that because they have to, not because they genuinely love the Lord and naturally want to.
