Pasaje Aragueño by Lauro

A fun piece by the great Venezuelan composer Antonio Lauro played by me, Samantha Muir. The pasaje is a variation on the joropo. What an excellent interpretation of the pasaje aragueño. There is somehing special in your playing...A quietness and calm feeling but at the same time the taste and flavor that the venezuelan music has..something that I only heard in the hands of the master John Williams..All the voices were clearly heared and the phrasing was excellent!!..Cheers and greetings from a student of classical guitar here in Venezuela!!

Suena muy bien al oído de un venezolano. My father was "aragüeño" (from venezuelan Aragua State) and he played venezuelan "arpa", I grow up hearing "pasajes aragüeños" played by him in his harp. Your interpretation sounds to my venezuelan ears with a very good taste...
