Terrible landslide destroys village in Southern Italy (15 february 2010)

There are numerous landslides in recent weeks in Sicily and Calabria. From Maierato distressing images of a giant landslide documented in direct contact with the readiness of a crew on the scene. Many other landslides make it hard for rail traffic. Heavy impact on many highways and secondary roads. In Sicily San Fratello completely evacuated for a landslide that is sweeping the whole town.
