Hey-I am originally from Jackson wy now living in Laramie...About 10 years ago a brush fire was started by a lightening strike and it burned one of the original homesteads in Grand Teton National Park...When the Park Service was asked why the homestead was no saved the answer was "Because our firefighters were not trained or qualified to drive on sagebrush"!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that? Anyway-next time your in the Med Bows look me up-I do a lot of prospecting here myself...

How sad. Today we were driving past a fort that is perfectly preserved and we marveled at how sad it would be for future generations if the ecoloons burn it.

I seriously doubt vandals would burn the buildings, bulldoze the foundations, and take down all the chimney structures that were out there, and then level the ground with a blade. The radical environmentalists are invading the FS and BLM and even have a union: the FSEEE (Forrest Service Employees For Environmental Ethics). I have seen my share of historic buildings burned by these radicals and am sick of it -- they are robbing us and future generations of their history. Time to speak out.

looks like the systematic changing of our history books that has been going on for some time now...

The conspiracy theorist in me says hmm... with all that indicator material the "government" can't access those deposits if it is a historical site but remove the history and.... Great video[s]

Here in Montana a few years ago, on Craigslist the state was giving away the old barracks from the fort where Custer served and battled with the Indians. In the other parts of this state deep off of the beaten path where ghost towns exist, the farmers in the area will go in there and load up a building and take it home in one chunk and use it for their farm.

It is truly sad to see where all of this is going: Fight the Little Guy, and you shut down the Big Guy.

Seems like the burning of those buildings would be a violation of the antiquities act.

It both saddens me and angers me that people would do this to our history.

I wonder if by contacting the news groups about this issue might expose these "ecoloons" and this way the public can be aware of what's going on ..
