Good vs. Evil. Frank Turek, author of "I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist," explains the concept of good vs. evil and how the distinction points to a higher standard. How do we understand injustice, without a notion of justice? How do we know a crooked line, without a concept of straight?

Frank Turek is founder of Cross Examined, which gives evidence for the questions of Truth, God, Miracles, and the Bible. For more information, check out http://www.CrossExamined.org

  • Then slavery was good, according to exodus 21:20. and every other person saying it is evil is just voicing an opinion.

    Bullcrap.

  • Good , Natural act And Bad are the real actions by people.... Sin and evil are created by created by religions....

Satan, devil and Angels dont exiest... They are just religion fundamentalist creation..

  • If evil points to good, doesn't good point to evil?

  • Justice isn't evil.

  • @LogicalStatements1 Yeah, arguments such as this is just a dishonest attempt by theists to co-opt the word good for purposes of associating their invisible friend with positive emotion. That it's just equivocation to say "God is good" in a language where humans also say things like "It tastes good", "I feel good" and "You're good at sports" is obvious. That it's a contradiction in terms is obvious when the same god is said to have murdered all humans in the flood.

  • He starts by saying, you can't say that 9/11 was evil then he flips it to you can't say it was morally wrong......

and saying that 9/11 was bad, I disliked it, and it was upsetting is perfectly accurate ,why do I need the word EVIL to describe it? it's just a word, what happened was an ACTION in the end the action has more impact than a word even if it is an army following orders aka words.

If god is good then good is evil.AND WHEN I SEE A REAL GOD then I will believe in your god, get over it.
