Raja Shivchatrapati- Night Attack on Shahista Khan's Camp.

Shivaji's daring attack on Lal Mahal is one of the rare examples of raw courage. He managed to completely outwit his opponent by entering Lal Mahal. With his one lakh strong Mughal army, Shahistekhan would not have thought in his wildest dreams of being attacked by Shivaji in his sleeping chambers. Not surprisingly therefore, Shahistekhan fled from Pune within twenty four hours of this attack. He was probably convinced that Shivaji could fly and even disappear.
