Not a very good recording but a great amp
-
Wow! That sounds great. Really big!
-
What kinda cab and speakers in this video? Thanks!
-
The added gain on the 20th anniversary heads ruins it for me. Too compressed and lose the bigness of the old Shivas. Plus, they really need EL34s to warm up this sound.

dont trust a youtube video for an accurate representation of an amp's tone (unless you can hear under the bad room sound/no mic etc)...that should be rule number one.
-
sounds like my old single recto with ts9 ...
-
All of the Shiva 20th anniversary clips I hear are thin and papery! Are the older ones more organic and thicker?
-
Can you get it in 50 watts? How about EL34s? I do not like KT-88s.

Was looking if it was possible to make my custom Fender MIM HSS Strat more aggresive and it seem it's really possible. I don't have anything fancy yet on it, only a new maple neck, added an IBZUSA C2 as mid pickup and had already one humbucker modified that I'm not sure what it is really. I found my hum not heavy enough and the neck pickup a bit too bright... any recommendation?

How do you like the KT88's in there versus the traditional EL34 sound Shiva's have become known for.
Sounds great. How much are they going for?

are you running a power attenuator on that? otherwise, i dont know how you could have the master volume at 2 o'clock and be in the same room. I have the same amp, and I cant set the master volume past 10 o'clock in my home. fortunately, this amp sounds damn good, even at "lower" volume. i've thought about getting a variac for it, though.

No attenuator. It's definitely loud, but the preamp volume is only at 10oclock.
I usually run the Master at FULL.
