  • Very good real music good ol days of america, But does this music and group remind u of how kurtis blow, grand master flash/ferious five spawn from ,like the same tree of musicians. yes even the rap back than up to the 90s was real and had instruments, chrous, playing in it.

  • @provisionscatering Right on!

  • All good, real music for the masses feed ur soul peoples.

  • good muito bom,

  • @MrBillc1023 Yes, and you also had TS's late sister Boo Boo (Barbara) on the left, and Sonny Rollins's nephew Clifton Anderson on trombone (right). Classic jam!

  • when I hear the intro to this song with all the horns, it reminds me of the intro to the Michael Baisden show that comes on the radio here in DC.....this groove is the shit!!!! the younger & much younger generation don't know shit about this right here!!! real sounds & clean-cut fun!!!

  • Now this is what we old school folks call, FUNK!!!..

  • This was one of my favorite non-disco/disco tune. It was Funky with a capital F. Didn't hurt in my mind that T.S. was Thelonius Monk's son. The group showed creativity and musicianship.I always thought T.S. and Chic were the best of that lot anyway. For me if it ain't funky...it ain't real. Gotta stay true to da funk if you want to move the crowd!

  • Priceless!! Top Classic Tune

  • @mssunshinegonzales notice how every band during that time had a full band! The 'corporatization" of music got rid of the musicians
