@000000AEA000000 I don't deny that the British did some terrible things but the starvation in India was not our fault the famine has spread all across Asia and we did execute many Indians but that was in the early days of the reign but we in the end gave a lot to the countries law and order Education Language Protection that is why we have the British commonwealth thousands of people across the empire have died for Britain we have made the world a better place I hope you understand

@000000AEA000000 yeh well im done with this crappy country, the monarchy and david cameron. All of which only highlight the good things the britain did and hide all the bad. I'd rather join the taliban!

@x123Scandalx there is more about the british empire on crimes. The british empire stole whole continents with the force of their arms. Arround 30-50 million people were systematicly hungered out and worked to death in India alone. Let alone the 500.000 who were executed there. Thats India alone... There are other chapters like Africa, New Zealand, Australia, the Americas, and indeed..... imperialist actions against europeans, without a doubt extraordinary harsh against Irish.

@3tangle3 Well iam German (sort of, cause iam originally German-Austrian, iam sure iam mixed myselve), and I permanently tell the English that I can hardly see any difference between English and British, and even some Irish people... Geneticly they are extremely close. But the English insist they all are saxons and say that as if it would be something better..... Very frustrating, and annoying.

@x123Scandalx what is british? just a made up label....the original brits spoke languages like cornish and welsh......most english ppl had these same ancestors so dont think you separate.....english ppl are celtic brothers but they lost the culture.....you can blame the romans, saxons and normans onwards.....amazing the celts have clung on!

@MrBackdoorable I was merely pointing out that given the Easter rising was quelled, and the 'rebellion and insurgency' didn't get going for three years after, it wasn't a military success as you had previously insinuated. Also, I'm not defending Britain's rule in Ireland - as evidenced by the lack of such an endorsement anywhere in my previous comment. The same people in the same place should rule themselves.
