Rail Joint Noise Video.

Thanks to Tim Shearer for shooting these clips. What makes ACE different - the weight and the noise?
In any case the C/4s and the last version of the A3 (E/6) are amongst my top ACE creations. The artwork by Brian Wright is the best tinplate interpretation of Gresleys Teak finish and can only be copied but never excelled in its original form.
Turn the sound up.

  • Hi all the track that these ACE Trains Locos and rolling stock run on is available from

Maldon Rail find them under the Contacts/Distribution page on the ACE Trains web site.

  • Hello from France...

Nice layout indeed... I am happy to see these wonderful ACE machines running... Because in my case , impossible to run ... neither the great Stanier, nor the C/4 coaches...

I am looking for some good advices...

What track / rails do you use ? brand, minimum radius ?...

On my tinplate layout, based on french JEP plastic track, nothing to do : they go regularly off the rails... Short radius? Quality ?

However Jep track is considered of good repute...

    Regards,

    Olivier

  • Great trains and the buildings in the background make for interesting scenery.
