2 things that are very different in Costa Rica #281

Here are just 2 little things that stand out to me having been raised in a western European country like Germany and living in Costa Rica right now.
I also want to say: This is just my personal view here, and I do not claim it to be neutral...
It is just so interesteting how different life and the view on it can be.
And I don't even know what is right or wrong here, if there is such a thing anyway.
It is just so different and the video will explain it much better than this description ever can.
If you plan to go on holiday or even plan to stay in South- or Central America, this video gives you a good insight in the cultural differences.
Even as I am sharing this basic parts of life, it still shows you a lot about the soul of this part of the world. Like we say here in Costa Rica:

I think it is because Western culture does not like body odor that could be a reason why they spray perfume while in Costa Rica. It may not be a status symbol. Here in the United States, body odor is a taboo. If you smell funky, people do not want to be around you because it is like you are dirty.
