I can't understand how people raved about Eric Clapton in 1970 when here was a young kid who could 've melted him within five paces. Shuggie outshone most players 30 yrs his senior. I first heard him doing 'Shuggies Chittlin Blues' on a Preston Love album (1969) .

Thanks so much for posting this!! Been trying to find off and on this for years. Knew it was Shuggie Otis, but didn't remember the title. They used to play this on the underground station here in TX. Loved this compostion and Mr. Otis' musicianship. As I recall, he was only in his teens when he recorded this.

Hey,what happened to your "Strawberry letter 23" video? I used to play that about once a month? It was a great vid for a great song!

Copywrite infringement, can you believe it. They took it down. I don't guess anyone will hear that song again. It's a matter of time b4 they take them all down. But I'll tell you what, I've still got that Vid somewhere I think and I'm going to put it up in other places. If you have any suggestions let me know.
