what machine did you use to get the unfinished edge? i see you siad profile knive which i searched but found many things

@whysolimited ..... I use a shaper cutter with a custom ogee style profile, on a shop fox 3 hp shaper....... like a big table router!

lol when it was stucking at 1:13, it's because you're not carving in the grain direction at all, and the way you were using the rasp could be compared with a lumberjack and his axe...
