  • @josebabu27

Would you like us to address any specific query of yours related to Group discussion? Please feel free to write to us at hrcrestinfo@gmail.com. I would assume by examples you meant specifics of a hypothetical GD environment, right?

  • What is the point in an assessment centre if you are telling people how to be and how to come across? Surely it is counter productive for companies who put on these events only for people to tell people how to act disingenuously to get a job.

Hi, That is surely a perspective. However, as a part of the tutorial, the objective is to help aspirants to be better prepared to shine in the competitive space. The idea is to prepare the participants in a group discussion to perform at their potential despite the group dynamics and competition.

  • thanks very informative

  • Thank you for the informative video. This is certainly going to help me do well in GDs...

    1. Communication skills.

    2. Leadership skills.

    3. Content.

    4. People skills.

  • thanks! that was pretty helpful and interesting. give me some tips to have that confidence..:)

  • @HRcrest I agree with you, and even watched this video (a bit contradictory) for help. However, it still remains the fact that the qualities these companies are looking for shine through in those dynamics, and if people are learning these skills and placing them on show to "fool" the assessors that they have those qualities when they don't, then it seems unfair on both the company and the good candidates who do have those qualities and are being conned out of a place.
