  • There is absolutely no difference between "only straits can marry" and "this school is only for whites".

  • @PrinceOfLight4 Mormons aren't the only religion that accept polygamy. Read the bible, Torah or Qur'an--they all state that polygamy is a way of life and a man's right. Mormons are just the only current American branch of religion that still actually talks about polygamy, but they weren't the first to preach/live it, nor will they be the last.

  • @aurianaserena maybe he's a gay puppy! he kinda looks like a bulldog.

  • @froggymicwop That's because he probably IS gay. Seems the more anti-gay a politician/public figure is, the more closeted they are. I'm sure we'll catch him in a bathroom stall or international airport with a man soon enough, lol!

  • Very good point!! Run for president lol

  • mike huckabee hates gays...and puppies.

  • @fandanstan When people date they don't take care of one another monetarily, that doesn't mean that they don't, or shouldn't, take care of the children that come from that relationship--even if the relationship ends.

Polyamory = dating more than one person, while everyone knows what's going on--otherwise it's cheating and I don't condone cheating. I don't think children should be involved in this type of life-choice, therefore I don't think it's good for a marriage either. Dating is different.

  • @ravenssilence Even when children are involved?

So you're saying it's okay to date more than one person, but not okay to marry more than one person?

I find it to be immoral to go behind one of your dates' backs to date another.

But when it's all upfront, and you're willing to care for all of them, I'm okay with that.

  • @fandanstan I'd agree with you if boys or girls who were dating were supporting one another, had benefits, and couldn't simply just break up--but that's what dating is. Dating someone isn't the same type of commitment one makes when they decide to marry or even become engaged. You can't dictate how many people someone dates. I don't agree with polygamy (especially religious based), but I don't have a problem with polyamory.

  • @ravenssilence Correct. I don't see anything wrong with what you've said.

As far as the law against polygamy in America is concerned, I find it to be hypocritical if having >1 girlfriend is legal.

  • @fandanstan Anyone in any country can have as many girlfriends as they want, polygamy is marriage, and it's against the law in America to have more than one wife--although in other places (Middle East) men are allowed to have as many wives as they can take care of.

I don't know what comment you're responding too, so that's all I have to say.

  • @ravenssilence I see nothing wrong w/ polygamy, personally.

I mean, Americans can have 10 girlfriends at once, impregnate them all, and can leave them just like that. If you're actually willing to MARRY them and actually care for them, then I'm all for it.
