  • hm I get tempuratures around 88-95 in myt cpu, is that safe? or need I more fans?

    nice tut btw.

  • @Halo3MasterMO Those temps seem way too high dude - Do you have a custom heatsink/cooler for your cpu or are you just using the stock cooler?

If you are I would recommend lowering your voltage to around 1.3 - you may be stable at this level.

  • I've got ...

    - Intel Core i5 2500K

    - ASUS P8P67 Motherboard (B3 Revision)

    - Coolermaster V8 Cooler

If i copy everything down that you have got will i be alright and safe?

  • @FEENPC yeh you should be good!

  • Thx alot

  • @ebaay1 np!

  • I need help, info, a direction of guru's that can advise on *underclocking*. We wish to build a server that will be powered by an M4-ATX (250Watt) 12VDC power supply and run from Solar / Wind / battery. Currently we are looking at the Intel i5 - 2500K CPU. But if there is a better option let us know! We wish to be able to drop the Wattage consumption down as low as possible during low reserve power situations. Contact us at shazam.zapto.org click *Contact* for info. or vk4akp@yahoo.com.au

  • @SiMSiN13 You can try maybe 1.35 volts for 4.8ghz - If that is unstable I would probably go up to 1.38 for stability at that speed. You probably wouldn't need to change anything else,

    thanks.

  • @j23araluce The EFI Bios is part of the ASUS P8P67 Motherboard - Most of the new Socket 1155 Intel Motherboards have it.

    thanks

  • This is a really sweet setup, And the price for the system is also seems very cheap. Props Props. I was wondering what Bios you have , and if it is available for download, or is i part of asus? i was looking at my bios screen and it looked like crap compared to yours. I have and acer i5 timeline x. THanks for the great info!!

  • Hey i Was curious to know if you had a similar guide for settings to use for 4.8ghz?

    System specs:

    2500k and p8z68-v pro with corsair a70

coolermaster 690 advanced II with 5 fans

    PSU: corsair tx750m

    let me know

  • @1Adr1an6 Yeh if you are lucky you may be able to hit 5ghz - but You would probably need between 1.48-1.5v on the CPU Core
